I was thinking or noting that this flower is pretty much my side decor flower's cousin Martha, but I love the sun flowers!

What gorgeous photos!

I love sunflowers. They are so cheerful and they will try to bloom for you anywhere. The background of yer bloggie is so pretty with all the sunflowers and other sunny blooms.

These are beautiful photos! I love sunflowers. We have black-oil sunflowers sprouting in our yard from where birds have dropped the seeds.

I followed you here from "The Everyday Adventurer" deer post.

Really lovely. Our leaves don't change color here. Well, if cactus had leaves, they wouldn't

Now I wish I had planted some sunflowers. Oh well, next year!

When the leaves change color, it can be awe inspiring. But sometimes it's downright worrisome. Some of the maples in Northern Wisconsin are changing colors too. But it is way too early for this to be normal. Unfortunately it is an indication of the drought that we have been experiencing for several years now. Concern is rising that if the drought conditions continue for many more years, many of the trees will not be able to recover. Hope your mid-August color change is not indicative of environmental or insect stresses.

I can't wait for fall and cooler temps! I just wish that we could get all the pretty colors here too.

Thanks for the camera tips. The leaf pic is awesome! Tell me more about Picaso. I have looked into several sites for editing and maily preserving my pics but most don't have much avail space unless you want to upgrade (of course)! :)
