I Love Poppies. What can I say?

Time for change. Time for new sights and visions to represent the seasons that whirl past so quickly every year.

I always think to myself, "Don't blink. . . "

Thus, the new background.

California's golden poppies are pretty radiant. I love them too! In Germany where I grew up, we had fields and fields of the red ones and I thought those were beautiful as well.

I know what you mean about time - almost 1/2 a year gone already - time for me to start working on Christmas crafts. I actually kept my tree up this year. It's still standing in my bedroom all decorated (where I hardly ever go - it's more like the cat's room) where it's ouf of the way. I know it's nuts, but hey, I lie alone and the animals don't seem to mind ;-)
Happy poppies!

A quick trip to LA the last three days was made much better by the incredible display of poppies and lupine near Gorman on Hwy 5. Almost made the trip worthwhile.

The new background is a very good one. The combination of the flowers and all of that green is beautiful.

The Poppies are beautiful! I love them too.

You are right. Don't blink because when you open your eyes and focus again, it is all different. The same, but new, but old, and different.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.
