Someone's Feeling Better....

This morning Gemma exhibited only a minor limp in her bad foot, so I decided she could go out and graze a little. She has been confined to her stall and paddock for about 10 days. I missed the shots of her standing straight up on her hind legs and almost falling over...

She took a couple hot laps around the horse area of the property making sure to run through the arena for dramatic effect.

Then racing down the length of the fence line, she turned around galloping at me with intent to trample...just kidding she totally avoided me.

Then it was "later lady"....as she trotted off to eat some grass as far away from me as possible.

That's gratitude for you.

I guess I might be able to ride her tomorrow. Sometimes those abscesses heal so fast you wonder what ever was wrong in the first place. There are smiles all around today!

Gemma looks very graceful. How old is she? I'll say it again, I wish I live close to you. Your ranch looks like so much fun! How you been? Haven't been in the blogosphere much and I'm keeping up today :)

Yeee ha! Boy she does look like she feels very good...expressive movement...!!!
Some one told me something about their horse(they said Thoroughbred) but it appears not to be breed specific, that the horse runs right at them. I have a video from "snow slow moving days" in December and Wa just really let'er rip once, I let her go in the arena....looks like she going to run me down...but she of course -does not!

Um , what is that blue water heater thinigie in the paddock?
